I wear a t-shirt and SPF 48 sun block, and for perhaps the first time do NOT get a burn from snorkeling.

From the boat you can see a tiny church high above.

It's a rocky path up.

From near the top you can see our boat far below.

Inside, one of our guides is lighting oil lamps for family members lost at sea.

The water is very clear and barely cool with little currents of warmth. There are a few small fish and a number of spiny black sea urchins. In the deeper water there seems to be basketball-sized tar globules but we see very little litter.
