The Oak Grove Neighborhood

The Oak Grove neighborhood is the tiny enclave in the 'tongue' of the meandering Red River that includes the 'Terrace' streets and the Oak Grove Park (where the Oak Grove Lutheran School is located).

Note the two little black ovals. This is to help you orient yourself, if you have been here to visit in the past.

The little black oval in the upper left is our current residence, 1044 12th St. N.

The little black oval in the lower right (with the green Google arrow), is our clubhouse at 515 Oak St. N.

Oak Grove Park is directly to the east of the clubhouse oval.

You can see, we are both north and west of Minnesota, due to the meandering of the Red River.

For those of you who remember, the toll bridge across the Red River is about six blocks north of us. The Hjemkomst Center (with the Viking ship in a tent) is only a few hundred yards, directly south of us in the 'Viking Ship Park', across the river.

We are only a few blocks from the downtown "Renaissance District" (not shown). This is the premium real estate along Broadway, from Main Avenue to 6th Avenue N.
