The AHC went to the Landlocked Film Festival in Iowa City, IA.

The American Home Cinematographers (in case your mother asks), screened their 'Italian Spy Thriller' Eye of the Holy See in its 'World Premiere'

Our movie was featured on the festival poster: see the first column, fourth row, on the image at left.

The festival program is to the right. It is a big PDF file (1.6 MB, 28 pages), we are mentioned on page 7 and page 17.

We make our way downtown. Quint and Lisa have preceded us.

Quint and Lisa have found a bar named Quentins. It works.

Iowa City has many fine features. To the left we see sidewalk fountains on the 'Ped Mall', Katie marching through cascades of water, and some kid sitting on the pavement. Then we went to the screening of our movie, which was hilarious. I counted sixty audience members (who I didn't know), plus us.
I laughed so much, I did not think to take any pictures.

After the screening we ended up at "Summit" after "Mickys" was too full. Audrey and Mitch helped us navigate through that, and it all worked out great. They were a huge help. We dined (l to r) Rita, Mitch, Audrey, and Brian, Bruce, Dave, Kate, Quint, Lisa, Barry, Penny, Dale, Elly

We split up at this point. Rita and I went to have delicious pasta Alfredo with Audrey and Mitch.

Then we went to see the Muscatine Ave. cottages (Historic Site, Vernacular Architecture), and had ice cream.

There was a 'red carpet' event, that fizzled, then a showing of the 'feature film' "Sixteen to Life".

We sat together: Mitch, Rita, Elly, Dale, Bruce, Barry, Penny, Lisa, Q, Kate

And that's that with that, except ...

... it must be acknowledged, that without the efforts of Dan Reetz, NONE of this happens.

He "re-created" the movie with patience, skill, attention to detail, and post-production magic. He even stitched up these badges (look left).

Here and to the right you can see the cuts, edits, and repairs needed to make a synchronized movie out of AHC materials...

... dozens of cuts, adjustments, edits, and changes, to make that AHC magic happen!
Thank you, Dan.
